How are you determining your Recruiters and Sourcers are fulfilling their learning needs? Quality training starts with an evaluation of the team, its strengths and weaknesses, and a comparison of the team’s performance actively benchmarked against current industry or internal performance metrics. Without defining success and comparing it to external yardsticks, understanding the true performance of the team or individual is impossible.

Absent standardized education and a defined curriculum, TA leaders are often faced with making speculative or unreliable decisions in determining exactly where training is needed. This leads to inefficient use of time and budget. Training works best when linked to metrics and processes. The constant pace of change in talent marketplaces combined with rapidly evolving sourcing methods require solutions that address gaps in continuous formal development of talent sourcing and recruiting skills.

What you'll learn

  • The need for fully objective assessment of technical skills among Talent Recruitment and Sourcing professionals
  • The top 5 reasons why recruitment leaders avoid training and how to overcome them
  • Benchmarking to uncover gaps that create relative weaknesses
  • Tailoring learning paths for diverse learning styles and needs

Walk away from this informative workshop with a clear definition of Talent Sourcing, a distinction between the role of Recruiter and that of a Sourcer, and why you can’t use the same ruler for measuring both. After this session you will be able to accurately assess Talent Sourcer candidates, conduct structured interviews, plan their learning and development paths, and measure their productivity in contrast to that of Recruiters.
