Miles Lloyd

Miles is a Co-founder of NorthStar People and a seasoned recruitment advisor with a portfolio approach. He has successfully partnered with dozens of recruitment agencies and organisations within the recruitment supply chain.

With 14 years in corporate/solutions sales (RPO/MSP, Recruitment, IT, Financial Services), 12 years in executive leadership (Group CEO and CCO), and 16 years as an NED/Advisor/Leadership Coach, Miles brings a formidable background. He has played key roles in numerous exit events (MBO, MBI, EOT, Trade Sales) and MBI business acquisitions.

Miles' strengths lie in driving long-term profitable growth by collaborating on Strategy & Planning, Value Proposition Design, Services Development, Product Market Testing, Go-To-Market strategies, and Strategic Sales Methodologies. His work enables recruitment agencies to transition from reliance on tactical contingent work to becoming talent partners, creating added value and achieving robust, recurring revenue growth.

Paul Sharpe

Paul Sharpe
Co-Founder, NorthStar People

Paul is a Co-founder of NorthStar People and a business mentor and RPO/MSP adviser for recruitment agency owners and leaders, helping them to transform their business and navigate the current industry challenges. His experience is unique having worked for the world’s largest agency (Adecco), an SME agency in the IT sector (InterQuest) and also inhouse (BAE Systems). He has built a massive network amongst HR professionals and still uses that today to complete short projects working for organisations direct, advising on inhouse RPO/MSP strategies. Over the last 2 years this has included working for Ricoh on a Central European outsourced model and for Wartsila a global engineering company seeking a RPO provider.

As COO he was until recently leading the sales and business development function and personally building, selling and implementing numerous RPO/MSP solutions competing against some of the world’s best RPO providers.

He has navigated internal politics around customer ownership, delivery and ultimately built and led a Talent Solution business that was punching above its weight. He now uses his passion, knowledge and experience to guide recruitment agencies on how best to build recurring revenue talent solutions, proving that every recruiter can do this.
