Trent joined the HR industry in 2004 after working as a sales leader within the Financial Services Industry for eight years. He began work as a recruiter for a superregional bank before moving over to the role of an HR Partner for a major line of business. He transitioned over to work on his own as a consultant and partner for small to medium sized businesses specializing in talent strategy, development, aligning HR to the business strategy and HR operation optimization.

In 2010, he joined BBVA as the lead recruiter for Commercial and Wealth Banking. Over the following ten years, he assumed more responsibility, ultimately becoming the Director of Talent Acquisition for the US. He led a talent transformation within the organization to optimize recruiting processes, increase candidate quality and experience while also developing a robust data analytics platform to track metrics.

Trent is now the Vice President of Talent Acquisition and Talent Strategies for Bureau Veritas, a recognized world leader in testing, inspection and certification services (TIC).

In his free time, Trent has written two books: "The 7 Deadly Sins of HR" and most recently, "Sprint Recruiting". He's an active participant in the HR Industry and is asked to participate in roundtables or provide keynotes for many organizations. His blog Sprintrecruiting.com reaches thousands of readers and provides unique insights on a range of recruiting topics.

When it comes to innovative approaches to candidate search, Shally literally wrote the book. He is the author of the industry standard textbook “The Talent Sourcing and Recruitment Handbook” as well as “The Sourcing Method: Tactics to Find Unfindable Talent.”

Often referred to as “the father of Sourcing,” over the past two decades, Shally has helped build sourcing organizations for companies like Fiserv, Microsoft, Google, Coca Cola, Cisco, Motorola, and more, and has helped hundreds of recruiting leaders successfully launch sourcing initiatives, improve the performance of their existing sourcing teams, and establish new sourcing functions from the ground-up.

He serves as Director for The Sourcing Institute Foundation, non-profit organization dedicated to providing recruiting industry education and opportunities to underserved communities. Recently, Shally was appointed as the Director for PowerSourcing at Aspirant.

Zachary Chertok has spent twelve years in and around the HR, Supply Chain, Project Management, and Operations Management technology sectors spanning roles including industry analyst, investment researcher, practitioner, developer, and marketer. After a brief tenure in the public sector working for the city of Boston, he transitioned to HR Technology with Kronos before becoming an analyst for HR and BI technologies and services. Across his career, Zach has worked in investor research for private equity and in marketing for emerging and established technology spaces centered on managing and facilitating people and people-driven competencies. Today, Zach works for WorkForce Software in product marketing while mantaining his own research in behavior economics and teaching for Columbia University's HCM program with a focus on strategic workforce planning.

Zach holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering and Project Management from McGill University and a Master of Public Administration from Columbia University in the City of New York.
